Mission
WEF is committed to supporting a strong connection between the Wilton community and their schools through imaginative and inspiring fundraising events and programs. Relying solely on volunteers and thanks to generous contributions from corporate donors and private donations, WEF has contributed over $800,000, providing beyond-the-classroom programs for Miller Driscoll, Cider Mill, Middlebrook, Wilton High School, and Genesis students.
History
Wilton Education Foundation (WEF) was formed in 1993 by a small group of like-minded Wilton parents with a vision to go beyond the Wilton Public Schools curriculum, dedicated to providing students across all grades with experiences in the latest innovations with focus on music and the arts, technology, and other enrichment opportunities. WEF’s sponsored programs fill the gap that the school budget is unable to provide, helping to make a difference in the lives of our students and the future of our community.
